Day 11 - Building starts

Building starts - sort of. They built a temporary support wall. This will hold up the garage roof as they change out the main beam. You can't see it in the photo, but the part of it near the front of the garage is already in. Because the new beam will be higher than the existing beam, they needed to move the main gas line to the house. Right now the new line is bright yellow and runs along the base of the garage. I'm hoping it will eventually be covered up...
